Susan set three challenges so we could start exploring our
theme for 2014 “Fragment”
1.
We were each given a small piece of black and
white fabric to be placed onto a black fabric background, stitched using black
and white thread only and to be completed in 10 minutes.
2.
We each selected three thin strips of fabric and
the challenge to produce an item.
3.
Black on white fragment of a sketch was provided to each of us
and the challenge was to design a piece utilising these fragments as
inspiration.
